Big news for our ambassador community โ you no longer have to wait on an admin or reach out to support just to update your job campaigns. You're now in the driver's seat.
First, a quick note on how you're connected
There are two ways ambassadors get connected to CareerArc, and it affects what you'll see today:
- You signed up through your company's universal ambassador link โ You have an ambassador account, which includes your personal dashboard. You can already edit your existing jobs campaign directly โ keep reading!
- You were invited individually by your admin (a direct invite link) โ You're connected for posting, but you don't have an account yet. To start managing your own campaign, you'll just need to sign up through your company's universal ambassador link to set one up. Once you do, you're all set to self-serve like everyone else.
Not sure which applies to you? Check with your admin or CSM, or just try logging in โ if you land on your dashboard, you're already set.
What's new
Total self-service control
If you have an ambassador account, you can manage your own job campaign directly โ no admin, no support ticket, no waiting.
Your campaigns, your rules
For campaigns that belong just to you ("My campaigns"), you have full control โ edit the jobs and the schedule however you like. Campaigns shared with other profiles ("Shared campaigns") give you control over the schedule, so you can still fine-tune when things post.
A more powerful profile page
Your ambassador profile page has leveled up too, with a new published-posts view so you can see everything you've shared, all in one place.
For brand-new ambassadors
When your company has the new setting enabled, anyone who signs up through the universal ambassador link automatically gets a starter jobs campaign the moment they create their account โ no need to build one from scratch. That starter campaign includes all jobs with no schedule set yet, so before it goes live, you'll want to:
- Edit which jobs you'd like to share
- Set your posting schedule
- Turn the campaign on
How ambassadors choose which jobs to share
When editing a campaign, you can choose from three ways to select jobs:
All jobs
Your campaign pulls from every open job automatically โ no filtering needed. This is the default for new campaigns and requires no ongoing maintenance.
Matching jobs
Narrow your campaign down using filters like:
- Job tags (e.g., category, such as Nursing, Education & Training, Executive)
- Brands (filter by specific companies or divisions within your organization)
- Excluded job tags (to filter certain categories out)
As you adjust these filters, your job list updates live, so you can see exactly how many and which jobs match before saving.
Specific jobs
Hand-pick individual jobs by searching and checking them off by name or Job ID. This gives you full control when you only want to promote a small, curated set of postings rather than a broader category.
Why this is a big deal
This is about giving ambassadors real ownership over their job promotion efforts โ faster updates, more flexibility, and way less waiting around.
A quick note for admins
Self-service editing is already available to anyone with an ambassador account. The one thing that requires your action: turning on automatic starter campaigns for brand-new sign-ups, so they don't have to build one from scratch. Just reach out to your CSM or our support team to get that turned on โ we kept it a quick conversation so you can talk through what makes sense for your team first.
