Building and updating job templates can be time-consuming and often ends up becoming manual work for your team.
Now, you can generate high-quality text templates in seconds. Create multiple variations at once, customize them to your brand, and preview them with real job data before publishing, all without the back-and-forth.
Spend less time writing templates and more time focusing on what matters.
✨ Where to Find It ✨
To get started:
- In your dashboard, navigate to the Assets tab on the left-hand side
- At the top center of the page, select Text Templates
- In the top right, click Add Text Template
- From the dropdown, select Magic Jobs with AI
From there, you’ll see two options:
- Generate with AI
- I’ll create it myself
🤖 How to Generate Templates with AI 🤖
1. Choose Your Template Setup
After selecting Generate with AI, a setup module will appear.
Start by selecting:
- The number of templates you want to generate (1–10)
Next, choose which placeholders to include using the toggles:
- Job Title
- Job Location
- Brand Name
You can include none, all, or any combination.
👉 These placeholders will automatically be replaced with real job data when your posts are created.
2. Add Your Messaging Ideas
Below your template settings, you’ll see the Messaging Ideas text box.
This is where you guide the AI by providing context, such as:
- A short summary of your EVP (Employee Value Proposition)
- Content from your careers page
- An existing text template to generate variations
This input helps shape tone, messaging, and overall style.
👉 The more relevant detail you provide, the more aligned your templates will be.
3. Select Your Tone
Next, choose how you want your templates to sound:
- Derive tone from your Messaging Ideas
or
- Select from the dropdown:
- Professional
- Casual
- Adventurous
- Witty
4. Generate Your Templates
Click Generate Text Templates to create your templates.
The system will generate multiple variations based on your selections, giving you options to choose from right away.
👀 Review, Edit, and Preview 👀
Once your templates are generated, you can review them directly on the page.
- Use the Preview dropdown in the upper right corner to select a job title
- See each template update with real job data
You can also:
- Click the ✏️ pencil icon to edit a template
- Click the 🗑️ trash icon to remove a template
✅ Select, Save, and Activate ✅
Next to each template is a checkbox.
- Select individual templates
- Or click Select All at the top of the page
Once selected, you can:
- Export templates to send for approval
- Save templates to your account
At the bottom of the page, you’ll also see the option to:
✔️ Tag templates for use with all jobs
- If selected, templates will immediately be available for all jobs
- If not selected, templates will save as inactive, allowing you to assign them later to specific jobs
✍️ Prefer to Build Manually?✍️
If you choose “I’ll create it myself”, you’ll be taken to the same manual text template creation flow you’re already familiar with.
