Convert your Instagram personal profile to a business account

This article will show you how to convert your personal Instagram profile into a business account. CareerArc can only post content to business accounts on Instagram.

On Instagram, you can convert your personal profile to a business account to allow your account to post content via CareerArc.

To switch your profile to a business account: 

• Select the drop down avatar for your profile and choose Settings

• Scroll down the left side menu of the Settings area and choose Switch to professional account

• Choose the Business option as this is best for retailers, local organizations, brands, etc.

• Select Next

• Confirm the business selection again and then choose Next:

• Select the category that best describes your type of business and select Done

• Add Contact details and select Save. Or select Don’t use my contact info to skip this step.

• Follow the final steps to complete and now your account is converted to a business account
