Creating a video

First, you’ll navigate to your media asset library. Click Library > Media. You’ll then click to Add media in the top right corner to reveal a dropdown menu. Click “Visual job posting” to get started!

From here you’ll select your preferred video template. Hover over the video thumbnail to see a preview.

Note: Videos will reflect your brand colors and logo. If you and your team can only use pre-approved images, select the "Pumpkin" or "Lemon Meringue" templates. These templates do not use stock images, but will use your brand colors from our system and your logo.

Next, you’ll use the drop down menu to select which job you’d like the video to be created for. You can either scroll through the list, or type the job title. CareerArc will use your approved text templates to generate the video content for you.

Once you have this selected click “Request video” and you’ll be advanced to the posting modal. Here you can decide whether you want this to post as soon as it is ready, or wait to review the video and post it later.

If you decide to post right away, you’ll select which profiles to post to and then you will select Post it!. The video will be posted to your profiles as soon as it is ready. If you do not want to post the video immediately, select "No thanks". Once you have made a selection you’ll see a notification that your video is being created.

You’ll also receive a confirmation email regarding your video creation request and a link to the Lumina Imports Page. This allows you to check the status of your video.

After the video is completed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to review and post the video.

Posting Your Video

Now that you have your amazing, custom-branded video, I bet you want to post it all over!  Here’s how you can:  Navigate to your media asset library and find your video at the top of the list. Click on the asset, and then click the “Post” button below the asset on the right.

This will open up the post builder, similar to what you may have seen for EB posts before, with the video pre-populated in the post.  The job selected for this video will also be pre-populated, as well as a randomly selected text template that is approved for use with this job.  Once this populates, you’ll be able to update the post as desired similarly to how you update a standard EB post. You can add hashtags, update the text templates, add to your calendar to post later, or post right away.
